Who's Cassie Candles?
and who are the cocker spaniels?
Cassie Candles is a queer singer/songwriter from Portland OR, with songs about romance, attachment, leaving home, and figuring out life. She sings alongside her feral band of Cocker Spaniels, weaving ethereal, danceable dreampop. Featuring cello, electric guitar, drums, and bass, they're known for heartfelt lyrics, doglike whimsy, and having a fun time.
They would describe their music as, "doggy dreampop"
The songs they perform can be found here, and are live versions of Cassie Candles' studio recordings.
